Neuropathy

Neuropathy is a disorder of the peripheral nervous system, which affects the nerves in the body outside of the spinal cord and brain. It is a common condition that can cause pain, numbness, tingling, and muscle weakness in the hands, feet, arms, and legs. Neuropathy can have a wide range of causes, including diabetes, autoimmune diseases, infections, genetic disorders, chemotherapy, and toxins. Treatment usually involves lifestyle modifications, medications and supplements, physical therapy, and other therapies. With proper diagnosis and treatment, people with neuropathy can often alleviate their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
