Trauma is a type of physical injury caused by an external force. It can be caused by a number of accidents, such as a car accident, a fall, or a sports-related injury. Trauma can range in severity, from minor bruises and scrapes to life-threatening injuries. Early medical treatment and trauma care are essential to reduce the risk of long-term physical or psychological damage. Trauma is one of the leading causes of death in people aged 44 and younger, and can affect a person’s quality of life.
