Pharmacology is a branch of medicine focused on studying the interactions between drugs and the body; including how drugs are made and used, and their effects on the body. Pharmacology is an important field for the development of new medicines, as well as the exploration of their potential uses in patient care. In addition, this field covers how different drugs may interact with each other, as well as how they can be used to treat specific diseases or symptoms. It also involves studying how drugs can affect the central nervous system, as well as the body’s ability to metabolize and eliminate them. Finally, pharmacology plays an important role in drug safety and efficacy, as well as educating the public on their safe usage.
