Community Health Nursing
Community health nursing is a nursing specialty focused on population-level health promotion and disease prevention for people living in communities. It is an essential part of public health practice, and aims to improve people’s quality of life through comprehensive health services and care. Community health nurses work to identify and address the health needs of individuals, families, and communities as a whole, taking into account the unique characteristics of the community. They also provide health education, train community health workers, and help to facilitate access to health services. Community health nursing is an important part of keeping communities healthy and preventing the spread of disease and illness.
