Anatomy

Anatomy is the scientific study of the structure of the body, how it’s put together and how it works. It is a branch of biology dedicated to describing and understanding the structure of all living organisms. Its main aim is to help identify the individual organs and structures of the body, determine their functions and, if something is wrong, diagnose the cause. By understanding anatomy, the medical field is able to diagnose and treat diseases, identify causes of death and improve overall healthcare. It also helps to understand how the body moves and works, which aids in the development of treatments and treatments and can point to solutions to medical problems.
