Making Sense of Implementation Theories Models and Frameworks
Implementation theories, models, and frameworks are analytical tools used to understand and evaluate the processes and outcomes of implementation. They provide a way to analyze how an intervention is implemented in practice, and are used to guide implementation planning, implementation strategies, and implementation research. Through the use of implementation theories, models, and frameworks, healthcare providers, researchers, and policymakers can gain insight into factors that lead to successful implementation. By analyzing the context of implementation, these tools can also be used to understand the drivers of successful implementation, allowing for the effective translation and utilization of evidence-based practices.
