Telehealth

Telehealth is a form of healthcare delivery that uses telecommunications technology to provide medical services virtually. It is used for connecting healthcare providers and patients who are geographically distant, as well as for providing care to individuals who may not have access to a physical healthcare facility. Telehealth services can include telemedicine (e.g. video calls and medical advice), remote patient monitoring, educational sessions, and digital health solutions (e.g. e-prescriptions, digital health records). The use of telehealth has been shown to improve health outcomes, reduce wait times, and improve access to care. It can also help reduce healthcare costs, increase patient satisfaction and create new ways of providing care. Telehealth is becoming increasingly popular, as it provides an effective, cost-efficient way for healthcare providers to reach underserved populations.

Immunity means being protected from something and being unaffected or not bothered by it. There are two main types of immunity: innate, also called natural or inherited, and adaptive. Our immune system protects us and helps fight off disease. Microorganisms, small microscopic organisms, and viruses are everywhere.
