Epidemiology

Epidemiology is the study of how diseases are distributed in populations and the factors that influence their occurrence. This knowledge is then used to develop strategies to prevent and control diseases, such as through implementing public health policies and interventions, and improving healthcare services. Through epidemiological research, we can better understand the causes and outcomes of diseases, as well as their spread and prevention. This helps us to design effective interventions and policies to improve the health of communities and individuals.
