Viral Vaccines

Viral vaccines are medical treatments that help immunize against viral infections caused by various viruses such as polio, measles, chicken pox, and influenza. Vaccines contain a weakened or killed form of the virus, which helps to stimulate the body’s immune system to recognize and fight the virus when it is encountered in the future. This protection helps to reduce the risk of disease and can also reduce the severity of symptoms if the virus is contracted. Vaccination is an important public health measure and is recommended for all age groups.
