Veterinary Vaccines

Veterinary vaccines are used to protect animals from illnesses and diseases caused by microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, and parasites. Vaccines stimulate the animal's immune system to produce antibodies in response to the disease causing agents, thus providing immunity against infections by those organisms. Vaccination is a very important part of animal health care, and can be used to protect pets, livestock, and other animals from preventable diseases, helping to control and eradicate certain infectious diseases. Vaccines help to ensure well-being and health of animals, and proper vaccination can even promote public health, by helping to reduce zoonotic diseases, which can be transmitted from animals to humans.
