Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is a common condition that affects millions of people, especially those over 50 years of age. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle by observing healthy diets, regular exercise, and weight control, can significantly reduce the risk of hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases. In conclusion, understanding the connection between hypertension and the carotid artery is critical in preventing life-threatening complications like strokes and heart attacks.
