Enteropathies

Enteropathies are medical conditions that affect the gastrointestinal tract, specifically the small intestine. They are usually associated with abdominal discomfort, bloating, flatulence, nausea and vomiting, and can be caused by bacterial or viral infections, inflammatory conditions, malabsorption, and food allergy. Enteropathies can lead to malnutrition and dehydration, and can be difficult to diagnose and treat without a thorough evaluation by a specialist. Treatment options may include dietary modifications, antibiotics, probiotics, and other medications. With prompt and appropriate treatment, enteropathies can be managed effectively, allowing individuals to enjoy healthy digestion and a good quality of life.
