Proteomics

Proteomics is the branch of biochemistry that studies the structures, functions, and interactions of proteins in a cell. It is a rapidly growing field due to its ability to provide a deeper understanding of cellular processes and its potential to identify biomarkers for diseases in a fast and cost-effective manner. Proteomics plays an important role in many areas of research such as drug discovery, diagnostics and personalized medicine. Additionally, proteomics helps to understand protein-protein interactions, signaling networks, and metabolic pathways. Thus, it has a significant impact on many aspects of healthcare, agriculture, and environmental science, providing insights that are useful for improving human health and the environment.
