Monomers Chemistry
Monomers are molecules that are capable of chemical bonding with other similar molecules to form larger molecules known as polymers. Monomers have a variety of applications in a wide range of industries, such as the production of plastics, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and adhesives. Monomers are also used in the synthesis of biopolymers, which are used in the food-processing, medical and pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. Monomers are essential components of many everyday products, making them incredibly important to modern society.
