Heparin

Heparin is an important anticoagulant (blood-thinning) drug that is used for people with a variety of medical conditions. It is used to prevent blood clot formation in the body and to treat venous thromboembolism (blood clots in veins) and arterial thromboembolism (blood clots in arteries). In addition, it can be used to stop bleeding quickly by reducing the viscosity of blood. It is also effective in preventing the formation of emboli (blood clots in small vessels). Heparin has various uses in medical practices and is critical for saving lives in emergency situations, as it provides a protective effect by reducing the risk of clotting in the blood vessels.
