Sense Strands

Sense strands are specialized, long, single-stranded DNA molecules that are used to measure variations in the amount of genetic material in different samples. These strands are designed to detect and quantify the difference in the amount of target gene expression. Sense strands can be used to measure changes in gene expression in a variety of contexts, such as clinical diagnostics, drug development, pharmacogenomics, and fundamental biological research. They offer a potential benefit over traditional techniques such as qPCR due to their high sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy in detecting very small differences in gene expression levels. Sense strands also provide a cost-effective and efficient way to measure gene expression levels in complex mixtures.
