Nonreciprocal Translocation
Nonreciprocal Translocation is the movement of molecules, including proteins and other biomolecules, from one cellular compartment to another without them being exchanged between the two compartments. It is a key process in the transport and distribution of molecules, enabling the transport of nutrients, proteins and other molecules throughout cells and aiding in the maintenance of cellular homeostasis. Nonreciprocal Translocation is also important for signaling pathways and is used to regulate gene expression as well as other cellular processes.
