Genetic Oscillators
. A genetic oscillator is a biological circuit based on genetic material that regularly switches between different states. This phenomenon underlies the proper timing of many processes in living organisms, such as the growth, development and behavior of cells. The successful harnessing and manipulation of genetic oscillators could enable the development of more precise and efficient treatments for diseases, which rely on accurate timing for successful results. Additionally, genetic oscillators could be used in the development of biosensors and artificial intelligence. Further research in this area may enable us to better understand and regulated the timing of biological processes, making the regulation of diseases more precise and efficient.
