Genetic Disease
Genetic Disease is a condition caused by mutations in a person's genes. These mutations can be inherited from a parent, or they can occur spontaneously during a person's lifetime. Genetic Diseases can cause serious health problems, birth defects, and even death depending on the severity of the mutation and the disease it causes. Genetic Diseases can range from relatively mild disorders to life-threatening conditions. Treatment and management of Genetic Diseases vary depending on the type of disorder and its severity, but can include lifestyle changes, medical therapies, and, in some cases, surgery. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment can often help improve outcomes, decrease symptoms, and reduce mortality. Genetic Diseases are a growing field of medical research with the potential to improve public health through early detection, prevention, and targeted treatments.
