Cloning

Cloning is a biological process by which a living organism is produced that is genetically identical to another organism. It is used to create multiple copies of an organism with identical DNA. Cloning has been used to create new organisms, research animal models, create copies of cells and tissues, and develop new medical treatments. Cloning is an important tool for biomedical research, allowing scientists to study the structure and function of genes and proteins in the same organism. It has also been used to help protect endangered species by producing cloned specimens, and to create genetically modified crops for food production.
