Rhizopus Oryzae

Rhizopus Oryzae is a species of fungi which is of great significance because it is a producer of enzymes used in the production of food, medicine, and many other products. Rhizopus Oryzae is used in the food industry to break down starches into simpler sugars, which are then used in food production and fermentation. It is also used in bioremediation to breakdown and remove toxins from contaminated soil. In addition, Rhizopus Oryzae has applications in biopharmaceuticals, owing to its ability to produce many types of enzymes which can break down proteins, fats, and other substances. Its use in medical research is also being explored for the production of antibodies and other therapeutic proteins.
