Vomiting
Vomiting is an involuntary expulsion of the contents of the stomach through the mouth. It is a protective reflex, triggered by the body in response to a variety of toxic substances, diseases, and psychological and physical stressors. Vomiting can play an important role in maintaining health, as it can help to remove harmful substances, bacteria, and parasites from the body. However, prolonged or excessive vomiting can also lead to dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, and other serious health issues. Therefore, it is important to seek medical advice if vomiting persists for more than 24 hours.
