Peaches

Peaches are an edible fruit native to China, where it has been cultivated for centuries. The peach tree is a deciduous tree growing to 24 m tall, with a short trunk and a broad crown of branches. Peaches are a popular summer fruit due to their sweet, juicy flesh and attractive, downy skin. Peaches are high in both Vitamin A and Vitamin C, as well as dietary fiber, potassium and magnesium. They are also a good source of antioxidants, which can help protect against disease. Peaches can be enjoyed fresh, canned or frozen, and are often used in desserts, salads, or as a topping on breakfast cereal or yogurt.
