Forensics
Forensics is the application of scientific principles to the investigation of criminal activities and civil disputes. It involves identifying, collecting, analysing and presenting evidence to courts, lawyers, and other decision-makers. Forensic science plays an essential role in providing impartial and independent evidence for legal activities and is used in a wide variety of contexts, from law enforcement investigations to resolving disputes in civil courts. Its techniques, including DNA analysis and fingerprinting, are of crucial importance in crime scene investigation and forensic pathology. The value of forensics lies in its ability to reveal facts and evidence that would be otherwise inaccessible or difficult to obtain.
