Food Allergens and Diseases
Food allergens and diseases are a growing concern for many people. Allergens are substances that can cause an allergic reaction when a person comes into contact with them. Common food allergens include peanuts, eggs, milk, tree nuts, seafood, soy, and wheat. These allergens can cause a range of reactions, from mild to severe, including anaphylaxis, an acute and potentially life-threatening reaction. People who have food allergies need to take extra care to avoid contact with the allergen in order to keep them safe and healthy. Knowing which foods contain allergens is an important part of protecting oneself from potentially serious reactions. Therefore, it is important to understand food allergens and the diseases they can cause, in order to reduce the risk of an allergic reaction.
