Food Agriculture

Food agriculture is the science, art and practice of producing food from biological resources. It is an important part of the global food system, providing individuals with access to healthy and nutritious food. Food agriculture encompasses a wide range of activities, from pre-planting processes such as land management and soil preparation to post-harvesting activities such as selection, grading, packaging, and storage. It also covers the scientific study of crop plants, the efficient use of fertilizers, pest prevention, irrigation systems, and proper crop rotation in order to maximize yields and minimize input costs. Food agriculture is essential for providing food for a growing global population, and is a major contributor to national and global economies.
