Casein

Casein is a type of protein found in milk and other dairy products. It is a slow-digesting protein, meaning it helps keep the body nourished for several hours between meals. Casein is also a highly nutritious source of essential amino acids such as lysine, leucine, isoleucine and valine, which are important for muscle repair and growth. Additionally, casein is rich in calcium and phosphorus, which are important for maintaining healthy bones and teeth. As such, it is often used in dietary supplements as a source of protein and calcium, which can help support muscle strength, endurance and overall health.
