Minimal Invasive Surgery Techniques
Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) is a surgical technique that uses small incisions and long, thin instruments to access and operate on parts of the body. It is used in a wide range of procedures, including endoscopies, laparoscopic surgeries, and various other invasive procedures. MIS offers numerous advantages over traditional open surgical techniques, including shorter recovery times, reduced tissue damage and trauma, lower infection rates, and reduced scarring. It is also less expensive and less risky than traditional surgery. In addition, MIS can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including cancer, gallbladder and appendix removal, hernia repair, and hysterectomies. As a result, MIS has become an integral part of modern medical practices, allowing for earlier diagnosis and treatment of many conditions with minimal risk and cost.
