Infections and Virus
Infections and viruses are small parasitic agents that are capable of living inside living organisms, such as plants, animals, and humans. They can cause diseases, either directly or indirectly, by interfering with normal bodily functions. Viruses and infections can be spread through physical contact, by air, water, or by vector-borne transmission. While some infections are relatively harmless and do not require treatment, serious, life-threatening illnesses can result from viral infections. Vaccines have been developed to reduce the severity of viral infections, and antibiotics can be used to treat bacterial infections. Infections and viruses are an important area of study for public health authorities as they can cause outbreaks of diseases with global effects.
