Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is a type of cancer treatment that uses drugs to destroy cancer cells. It works by preventing the cancer cells from multiplying, while at the same time allowing normal cells to remain healthy. Chemotherapy is often used in conjunction with other treatments such as surgery, radiation therapy, and immunotherapy to effectively treat cancer. As one of the most effective treatments against cancer, chemotherapy has improved the lives of many people around the world by extending life expectancy and reducing the spread of cancer cells.
