Animal Models
Animal models are living organisms used in research to gain a better understanding of human biology and to develop new treatments for diseases. Animal models, such as rats, mice, and primates, are used to study the effects of genetic and environmental factors on health and disease. They provide a way to test new drugs and treatments, as well as to understand how different biological systems interact. Animal models also help scientists determine the safety of new drugs and treatments prior to their clinical use in humans. By using animals in research, scientists can study diseases and other health conditions without creating a risk to people or populations.
