Uterine Fibroids

Uterine fibroids are non-cancerous growths of the uterus, commonly found in women of reproductive age. These growths can cause a variety of symptoms such as pelvic pain, abnormal menstrual bleeding, frequent urination, and infertility. In some cases, the fibroids can be surgically removed, but in the majority of cases, medical interventions are used to manage the symptoms. Uterine fibroids are a common medical condition, with some estimates suggesting that at least 20% of reproductive-aged women are affected. Early diagnosis and treatment are important for ensuring the best possible outcomes and quality of life for those affected.
