Perinatology
Perinatology is a branch of medicine dedicated to the care of pregnant women, newborns and the fetus. It focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of any problems that may arise before, during and after birth. Perinatologists are multidisciplinary experts in maternal-fetal medicine, who specialize in detecting and managing high-risk pregnancies. They combine their medical knowledge with extensive experience in medical technology, genetic counseling, and ultrasound to provide early detection and optimal care for pregnant women and their babies. Perinatology has proven to be invaluable in reducing the rate of infant mortality and improving the overall health of both mother and child.

The cycle is approximately twenty-eight days long, with a fertile period of five days per cycle, but can deviate greatly from this norm. Men are fertile continuously, but their sperm quality is affected by their health, frequency of ejaculation, and environmental factors.
