Motility
Motility is the ability of an organism or object to move spontaneously and actively, typically in response to an external stimulus. It is an important property of most living organisms and is essential for their movement and survival. It is also a key factor in the success of many technologies, such as robotics, as well as in biological research. Motility is often controlled by various complex mechanisms such as bioelectric signaling, muscle contraction, and chemical reactions. Examples of motility include the movements of plants, animals, and robots.
