Male Reproductive Toxicity
Male Reproductive Toxicity is an area of research that focuses on the effects of various chemical, physical and biological agents on male fertility. This includes evaluating the adverse effects of various industrial chemicals, consumer products, pesticides and pharmaceuticals on male reproduction, both in terms of quantitative and qualitative aspects such as sperm count, motility and hormone function. Additionally, male reproductive toxicity research is also important in understanding the effects of lifestyle choices like smoking and alcohol consumption, as well as occupational exposures to radiation and metals, on male reproductive health. By better understanding the risks posed to male fertility, public health measures can be taken to protect the reproductive health of men across the world.
