Entomology
Entomology is the scientific study of insects that are of importance to humans. Its significance lies in its importance to agriculture, public health, and medicine. Entomology helps to identify, prevent, and control insect-related problems such as pest infestations, crop damage, and the spread of diseases by insect vectors. It also helps to develop beneficial uses of insects such as pollination and production of medicinal compounds and chemicals. Entomology is also used to study insect behavior, habitat dynamics, and the interactions between insects and the environment.
