Amino Acids

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, which are essential for life. They are organic compounds composed of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen. These acids are found in both plant and animal foods, as well as produced naturally by the body. They are essential for various cellular functions, growth, development, and digestion. Amino acids also help regulate hormones and enzymes, and participate in metabolic pathways. Additionally, they supply the body with energy and are used by the immune system to create antibodies. Dietary amino acids are also important for proper growth and repair of muscle and other tissues, as well as for healthy skin and hair.
