Theory of Evolution
The Theory of Evolution is the scientific theory that explains how organisms have changed over time and how they continue to change. It explains how life on Earth has evolved from single-celled organisms to the diversity of life we see today, and how new species come into existence. This theory is significant as it provides an explanation for the basic patterns of biodiversity and offers a unified view of genetics, biochemistry, ecology, and other branches of biology. It is one of the foundations of modern biology, and has been used to make advances in agriculture, medicine and biotechnology.
