Neolithic Period
The Neolithic Period, also known as the New Stone Age, refers to a time of prehistoric technology and culture that emerged around 10,000 BCE and lasted until about 3,000 BCE in many parts of the world. The Neolithic Period was characterized by the use of stone tools, the domestication of animals, and the adoption of agriculture. This period marked the start of sedentary lifestyles that enabled an unprecedented level of population growth.
