Genetics

Genetics is the science of studying how traits and characteristics are passed down from one generation to the next. It explores how traits are inherited, as well as how they are altered by the environment and other factors. Genetics plays an important role in understanding and improving our health, as well as in such fields as agriculture and forensics. Additionally, it has led to the development of personalized medical treatments, such as gene therapy. Understanding genetics allows us to better understand the causes of diseases and to develop new ways of preventing and treating them.
