Evolutionary Theories
Evolutionary Theories are scientific theories which describe how populations of organisms have changed over time. These theories are based on the evidence of changes in the genetic makeup of populations over time, and they are used to explain the diversity of life on Earth. Evolutionary Theories help scientists understand the process of evolution, which is the main underlying mechanism for the diversity of life. Furthermore, this knowledge can be used to develop new medical treatments, understand the evolution of disease, and create innovative solutions for a wide variety of bioengineering challenges.
