Evolutionary Developmental Biology

Evolutionary Developmental Biology (also known as Evo-Devo) is an interdisciplinary field of biological research that investigates the genetic and physiological basis of the development of different organisms. It focuses on the evolutionary history of the development of organisms, expecting to understand the mechanisms by which organisms evolve and to predict potential evolutionary changes.
