Evolutionary Adaptation

Evolutionary adaptation is the process whereby species develop certain traits over time to better suit their environments. This process is an important aspect of natural selection, where advantageous traits become more widespread over generations. Evolutionary adaptation allows species to survive in changing conditions and can lead to both physical and behavioral adaptations. For example, some species of fish may evolve to blend in with their environment, while others may form large schools to better evade predators. Evolutionary adaptation is the driving force of biological diversity and is key to survival and the success of species.
