Archaeological Dating
Archaeological Dating is the process of determining the age of artifacts, fossils, and other remains what have been excavated from archaeological sites. It is an important tool for archaeologists and anthropologists as it can provide a great deal of information about the ancient peoples and their cultures. Archaeologists use various methods such as Radiocarbon dating, dendrochronology, and thermoluminescence to calculate the age of remains. By understanding the age and placing of archaeological artifacts, archaeologists can piece together the environmental and cultural context in which they were found. This allows them to more accurately interpret the lives of ancient peoples and their societies.
