Systems Biology
Systems Biology is the study of biological systems at the molecular, cellular, organism, and ecosystem levels by looking at their interactions and connections. It combines mathematical and computational models with experimental data to better understand the complex networks within a system. It is used to decipher the mechanisms underlying the development, function, and behavior of living systems and to make predictions about future behavior in the presence of changes in conditions. Systems Biology can be used to develop treatments for diseases, investigate protein-protein interactions, study gene regulation, and understand the effects of certain drugs on the body. Its applications to healthcare, pharmacology, and biotechnology make it a valuable and important field of study.
