Low-carbon Economy

A low-carbon economy is an economy that seeks to reduce or eliminate carbon emissions and promote the use of renewable energy sources. This type of economy is seen as an important step to prevent the further depletion of the Earth's natural resources and reduce the negative effects of climate change. Low-carbon economies can promote economic growth and development while minimizing environmental impacts. Examples of low-carbon economic initiatives include increasing energy efficiency, investing in renewable energy sources such as wind and solar, reducing the use of fossil fuels, and using carbon capture and storage technology. Low-carbon economies are seen as a way to reduce emissions, create jobs, and help to protect the environment.
