Energy Modelling
Energy modelling is an analytical tool used to simulate energy use in buildings and other large scale energy systems. It combines computer modelling and energy analysis to predict energy costs, identify energy efficiency opportunities, and determine the cost-effectiveness of energy-saving strategies. Energy modelling can be used in the design, construction and operation of any building or energy system. Energy modelling has the potential to reduce costs, increase sustainability and reduce environmental impacts by providing valuable insights into energy use and helping to identify potential cost savings. Energy modelling is increasingly being used to assess, analyse and compare the environmental, economic and social impacts of different energy systems, including renewable energy technologies.
