Interstitial Fluid
Interstitial fluid is a bodily fluid that is found between the cells of tissue in the body. It serves several important functions, including aiding in the transport of oxygen, nutrients, and waste products throughout the body, and regulating the body’s pH levels. Interstitial fluid also helps to maintain the balance of other ions, proteins, and electrolytes in the body, as well as playing a role in the movement of molecules between tissues. By providing these essential functions, interstitial fluid helps to keep the body healthy and functioning properly.
