Dyslipidemia

Dyslipidemia is an abnormal concentration of lipids, such as cholesterol and triglycerides, in the blood. It increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart attack and stroke, and is one of the major causes of death worldwide. Dyslipidemia is often caused by unhealthy lifestyle habits, including an unbalanced diet and physical inactivity. Treatment and preventive measures include lifestyle modifications, regular physical activity, and medications. Early diagnosis and management of dyslipidemia are important for preventing and treating cardiovascular diseases.
