Dwarfism
Dwarfism is a medical condition in which an individual's height is significantly below the average for their age, sex, and ethnic group. It is typically caused by a genetic disorder or an inherent hormonal imbalance. Dwarfism is usually associated with short arms and legs and a short torso, as well as other skeletal deformities. Due to their short stature, people with dwarfism often face social and physical challenges, such as difficulty reaching items on shelves or tables and physical limitations. In addition to the physical consequences, people with dwarfism may also experience mental health issues such as depression and anxiety due to their condition. They may also find themselves facing social stigma, which can negatively affect their quality of life. As such, people with dwarfism need continued emotional and physical support to help them lead fulfilling lives.
